Day 30, Work/Life Balance:

It is a challenge to have an art business, since I work at home.  I have kids, pets, a husband and a home to maintain, along with my art and business, all under one roof.  I have to get creative with managing my time around family, and making art and managing a freelance art business. But, working from home has benefits. I’m around if my kids need me, sometimes my kids like to help in the business, I can work at any time of day, I can go on work field trips, I can have classes on line or in person, I can meet with clients and other artists for lunch or for coffee, and I can create art everyday!
