Day 28, Planning:

My planning is usually flexible because I have to work around my family.  I typically have some main goals planned for that year, and then break it down into monthly and daily goals.  I try and break things down into smaller steps, but often try to do too much at once. But I quickly realize I have to have small daily goals to work up to a bigger goal.  When I give myself a challenge, like art for 365 days, or Inktober, or folktale week or March Meet the Maker, I tend to be dedicated and push myself to meet that goal of completing it.  When I have a daily goal that keeps me accountable, I tend to be dedicated and stick with it.

I’m still working on scheduling my daily artwork and business, but I know I at least make some type of art that day, even if it is a quick sketch.
