First week of online art classes.

These past two weeks have been a new experience for me.  Creating art with online classes, Zoom, and Creative Drawing Live on Facebook. It’s a different experience.  I am glad we are fortunate to have this technology during this time.  It has opened the possibility to do things fun while keeping safe.

My online kid art classes went well this first week. I have taught really young students to more experienced older kid artists. We have worked with creativity, imagination and developing new drawing skills.

With my younger kid classes, we created an illustration of themselves flying over a cityscape.  We used our imagination to create our characters and city below.  We worked with mixed media to learn about how to create a piece of art using different art materials.

In my older kid class, we learned how to create an anime drawing of a female face.  We learned about the different materials needed in drawing anime art and how to form a face.  I can’t wait to have more experiences working with new young artists and to encourage creativity and imagination.

Remember that curiosity, wonder and exploration are the basis of creating. Keep exploring and creating art! I look forward to the next week's classes and seeing new faces.  Sign up for one of our online art classes TODAY!
